Hi,
my last trip is in about 34 hours, so I'm here to say a quick farewell. I have to say I have mixed feelings about this forum - kind of the same as the idea of CTB itself (but I'd fight to keep both freely accessible). We all wish for peace here as if it were an absolute value, and not just the last, very last resort when really, really, really all the others have evaporated (we are complex beings: we would never simply tolerate continuous peace, if we were conscious: alive). I hope each of you here finds the best way to live (or not live) with this complexity. Be kind to yourselves, and to others, as much as you can. I have admired many 'acts' of kindness here: the part I certainly appreciated the most. Kind does not mean hypocritical: you can be both frank and gentle at the same time. Try not to make decisions when you are desperate; think carefully about every possible consequence (and even the impossible ones: they could still happen). You can find beauty everywhere, even in the most unlikely places.
It was really nice to meet some of you.
