CTB with pure nitrogen ( 99,999 % )

Hello there!

First of all, maybe I should mention: I'm new here.

It's been a year sincer I struggled to find a successful method of...not being here ( in pain - health issues ).

Didn't actually know 'bout this peculiar and particular website, however I did managed to come across the helium "exit bag", at the beginning. I even placed the order for two tanks and in the meantime - still informing myself - I found out that helium isn't quite pure anymore.

Luckily, afterwards, I was able to aquire pure nitrogen and when asked for what I needed it, I said that for tires. I will attach pictures! I was able to order both the tank and regulator together! The cannister is of 5 L. Hope this is enough? Also, did some tests - to check if a plastic bag is going to break or not in a timeframe of 10 minutes, and it didn't. Yup, I decided to "go" with a plastic bag and tape around the neck.

My main question is: what could fail / go wrong?

I moved alone, so no one will interfere, even though I wanna be found eventually... BUT i don't want THIS to fail! Any help? Oh, another detail, I'm going to turn on the tank/regulator to flow slowly in the bag - I'm not techy at all in this area/department with psi?!, even though I managed to assamble the pieces together and watched a tutorial in how to use the regulator and such

It's a problem with nitrogen. Regulators has PSI not L/Min :/
Just wondering if you tape bag around your neck, wouldn't it makes bag to explode? Pressure would rise too much with time if i'm not wrong.unless you leave a gap.

@emergencyexit , yes - but I'm not familiar with those terms in regards to the regulator, I just opened it / turned it on just a bit in order for the nitrogen to flow in the bag slowly, without exploding it, and in 10 minutes, and more, it did not "pop"/break at all. And I used tape. There are 2 pictures attached.

Therefore, if the bag doesn't break, in those minutes from what I've read you should be dead... However, I did not test the losing your consciousness part... I saw a documentary in here with tests on a pig with pure nitrogen, and how the lower the oxygen gets affects a human being without any panic. But only the pig almost went unconscious

Maybe when you truly want to die, there's no testing... dunno. Someone managed to die with a bag tied on the neck and helium, in that case, when coming back straight from work. Next morning, dead. And a specialist said that it was a painless asphyxia

Are you able to set the flow rate to 15LPM? I cannot tell if the second dial is for pressure or flow.

@Greenberg , here are more pictures... just PSI ? I was considering of choosing 12 PSI or something like that ( I don't want the bag breaking... even though I read about the CO2 part ) On another note, I'm seriously considering the SN method, people here "succeeded", most likely, more with this one rather than with the inert gas. It would be a bummer to wake up unsuccesful and with brain injury as well...



However, it seems painful with SN and longer lasting 'scenario', dunno if there's the risk of surviving... with damage, as well. But with nitrogen or other inert gas, one little mistake and you can end up with brain damage since you're depriving your brain from oxygen and cells die within 1 minute... With SN, no one is here to save me anyhow, and if there's pain I will try to "hang in there", but it betta be leading to death, otherwise I cannot imagine other outcome besides death with SN

It is hard to say if 15psi would result in the right flow. Flow rate is largely dependent on the diameter of the gas outlet and/or hose. A flow reg would be ideal. From your photo, it would appear that you are from France. If you open to upgrading your reg to a flow reg, I would suggest that you review escMode's products. Incidentally, they also sell sn if you are interested in that too. Best!

@whywere, thaaankies from the bottom of my -exhausted- heart . Yup, totally unexpected for such a community to exist when you`re seriously contemplating, daily, about dying by your own hand and you cannot talk about this with anyone... However, I get it, why you need to talk if it`s taking sooo much ``freaking`` time figuring out HOW TO DO IT. Normally, when you want to CTB, you would do it without talking, I guess...
