I'm currently on circadian 6mg melatonin for insomnia. I know I cannot overdose on this and would never choose overdosing as an option due to the high probability of failure, but I'm wondering if it can be an aid to any method?
Passing out in water to cause drowning? if it's compatible with any pills to pass out before effects kick in?
Any help would be appreciated... mindful to please apply this to accessibility in the UK, although I am willing to go to lengths to get my hands on substances.

Benzodiazepines are more preferable for drug cocktail mixtures as well as other methods for the purposes of sedation, because they have far more powerful sedative effects than melatonin. Benzodiazepines are very rarely ever prescribe in the UK (most common way of getting them seems to be getting yourself in a psych ward then start/complain about having panic attacks), but they're very easy to get from the dark net.

If melatonin usually makes you pass out, sure. It doesn't seem strong enough to me though.

Thank you.. living in the UK is definitely a pain. Do you think, if I returned to America, it would be any easier? Depending on state?

Hah! Trust me, it does the job. I've just had my dosage upped to 6mg from 2/4mg so it'll keep me asleep, since before it would get me to sleep but not keep me sleeping. I suppose it depends on the melatonin. I take slow release, so it stays and continues releasing in my system for hours.

Sadly I think it might be more difficult. I've heard of the US overall having slightly stricter customs than the UK, but no where near as bad as other countries like Australia, Netherlands and New Zealand.

You can buy codeine-paracetamol in the UK without prescription, right? Opiates can make you nod off especially if you don't have a tolerance. Cold water extraction can isolate the codeine from the paracetamol - though I don't know if liver failure would be of concern anyways in this circumstance.

As for melatonin - I doubt it'd hurt, but doubt it'd help either; it just aids your natural sleep cycle and won't make you pass out or anything, especially if you're in a state of heightened anxiety/excitement, which I imagine would be the case.

Nurofen Plus is available in the UK and Ireland, but usually there are restrictions on the quantity that one can buy. I doubt that one of OD on nurofen?

Big doses of melatonin (around 100 mg) is a treatment for several desesses, so it will do absolutely nothing in terms of sleep or passing out. I took around 100mg lots of times (for my health), it is a very good antioxidant and anti-inflammatory at these doses. It is not a medical advice of course, but all this information is available on scientific sites on melatonin.

Even if you could extract the codeine from paracetamol, codeine is said to be 1/10th to 1/3rd the strength of morphine, and morphine already isn't that strong of an opioid in the grand sea of opioids, making codeine very weak. I imagine you'd have to buy thousands (maybe even tens of thousands) of Nurofen Plus making it stupidly expensive.

From what I can find, nurofen plus comes in packs of 24, with 12.8mg of codeine per tablet, so it adds up to a little over 300mg of codeine per box. I'm not suggesting overdosing on it as the main method of CTB but as the original post said, an aid to pass out during another method.

Pretty sure we can without a prescription. I've never had it before, so maybe it's a shout as I'll have no tolerance from previous experiences whatsoever.
Depending on how much melatonin I take, it can knock me out. If I take 12mg its likely, 18mg nearly definite. I just wonder how it can aid an attempt.
