Itd probably feel like someone smacking you across the head, break the skin, leave a bruise but ... no.

My brother was shot with a bb gun once from about 20ft by accident (not the head but the back) and he got the bb stuck in his skin.

It could theoretically pierce bone in some instances, but most of the time it's just not going to happen. I have heard of BB gun fatalities, but they were actually from shots through the eye.

I mean it could. I grew up with a kid that shot a bb gun and it hit the ground and bounced back and went in his eye. He lost the eye and said it messed up alot of his nerves and stuff in his face. So if pointed directly into the eye I would imagine it would do even worse damage. If you google "man killed by bb gun" surprisingly a ton of searches come up. Most of them seem like they bled out rather than the shot killing them. So I would imagine it being very painful.
