I really want to ctb using SN but I live with my parents. I don't own a car so going to a hotel is not an option. I'm worried that I'll fall out of bed or have a seizure. My bedroom is downstairs. I would prob do it at bedtime to make sure I have plenty of time before being found. I'm so nervous something will go wrong and they would hear me. The last thing I want is to fail and end up in the mental hospital

I'm on the same situation.
I think the best way is to wait untill i'm home alone for a day or two. Like when my mother goes to visit my grandparents almost every weekend.

I hear you. I have a roommate and she is pretty much keeping an eye on me, she'll be sad when I go but wtf can I do?! It's way tougher ctb than living on your own, no contest
Peace/hugs

I have this dilemma too. Even worse, my mom goddamn works from home and our house is tiny. But the time it's late at night and they're in bed, I'm too exhausted to fast, and they might hear me because it's such a small space. During the day, I play 'white noise' to sleep, but I've fake coughed/vomited as a test, and my mom heard me over it and came upstairs. So I have no idea what to do. Because I'm severely ill/bedridden, the morning would be easiest -- if I react negatively to the anti-emetic, at least I'd be lying in bed. My only hope is that I don't vomit, I suppose? It seems like a huge risk but I'm growing desperate.

My parents go out to work at 7 in the morning, so I will ctb after they go to work. They will go home at 8 in the evening, I have enough time to ctb.But I think ctb in the morning will be more anxious and uneasy.

I don't own a car so going to a hotel is not an option.

Depending on where you live you could take public transport, walk, Uber, rent a bicycle, etc. So many possibilities.

My parents go visit my grandma in the nursing home about 1x per month. They are usually gone for most of the day.

I'm desperate too. I do know my parents have a fan in their room they used at bedtime so maybe they wouldn't hear me. I'm just so nervous

They definitely would be suspicious since I never leave the house

I live alone in a basement, but the upstairs apartment (duplex with the up and down separated) would be Traumatized if they knew. there is almost no insulation between our floors, i can hear them talking very clearly even when quiet. So if something goes bad and i call out, there could be an issue. My advice, if possible, would be to listen to music a little loud? Maybe say you are in a bad mood and just need some time with some loud tunes? You can do this a few times before you CTB to make it feel like a normal thing, so she doesn't come up and check on you/ask you to turn it down for a longer period of time.

Yeah :( I'm worried about what my behavior will be like after ingesting it .. Like if I panic/lose control or do something to attract attention without realizing. On top of the risk of vomiting.

We live in a 70sq m apartment. Our bedrooms are an inch apart. I will be attempting at night without music or white noise, lying down as close to the wall against my bed as possible. It's the biggest risk I'll ever take.

How likely are spasms/seizures? I know the risk of vomiting is quite high but there is Meto etc. to help, just wondering how, if at all possible, can you combat this? I am also not living alone and just curious

I've heard that benzos can help with preventing seizures, but I'm not sure.

Thanks. Unfortunately can't get access to benzos in time, but I appreciate the info and hope it helps someone else

I feel like this would be the best option. Doing it in a shared residence adds a whole nother level of distress. They will probably have to move away and uproot their entire lives to deal with the trauma.

To avoid drawing extra attention you could even start changing your routine.

I have similar fears of panic or calling out or making noise and moving around while unconscious. I wonder how people can alleviate these fears.

My fear is vomiting or falling off the bed while unconscious. That definitely would alert my parents

Exactly the reason why i'm planing to move away from my family and then have some other people find my body in a hotel maybe, i imagine the trauma from finding the body of a family member will cripple them for life. i'm sure that their suffering will be terrible anyway but not having to find my dead body is the least i can do for them.

I have roommates so I understand your problem. Is it possible to lie down on the floor before taking the SN ? That way you wouldn't fall out of bed.
As long as you have a door on your bedroom and wouldn't be disturbed ?
