For years I've been interested in learning about cryptids and paranormal experiences that people have had. Most of the time when you mention cryptids, people think of Bigfoot or the Chupacabra but some people have claimed to see giant werewolf like creatures that can stand on two legs and run or walk just as easily as they can on all fours. There's a channel on youtube called Dogman Encounters and it's about these particular things, and I always wonder if they're even real or what they really are. Are they just a strange animal that hasn't been identified yet or are they something supernatural? While it's possible that not all of the stories of these encounters are true, I have to believe that some of them are real and I always wonder what people are seeing.

All I know is we live in a very strange (and sometimes horrible) world that still has unexplored forests and oceans with new animals being identified regularly. A long time ago on the weather channel's website I bookmarked a video I found showing several newly discovered creatures from the ocean, including cookie cutter sharks, weird looking fish, and sea spiders. I have no idea if cryptids fall into a similar category, being undiscovered species, or if they are something else entirely.

I think some of these experiences fall into the paranormal since I've been listening to a podcast lately called From the Shadows and the guests on there have seen some very wild stuff. No idea how honest the guests are since I can't read their minds and I haven't seen the things they have, so it's all a mystery to me.

What do you guys think? Does this kind of stuff interest you at all? Do you believe things like Bigfoot could be real, or are they fake? Sometimes I get a bit paranoid researching this stuff out of curiosity so I'm wondering if anyone else is interested in the topic.

As an avid Lovecraft fan i believe that there are weird creatures still undiscovered especially in the oceans. I mean there are weird sounds recorded in the oceans where no biologist even has a inkling of an idea what creature could have made that sound. Some are apparently geological but others are of unknown origin. Maybe Cthulhu or it's brood could be actually real.
