From the sounds of it this is pretty common with people who struggle with constant low mood and hating life, but boredom really kills me. It's not that I lack things to do, but rather everything I do doesn't really make me feel any better. I used to have a few hobbies but I've given up on them over time. Now the boredom is just so intense I can't take it. It feels like I'm being stabbed in the chest and desperately need to move and do something, but I have no energy and can't bring myself to do anything.

Tell me about it, every day is the same crud for me. Wake up from a crappy dream, try to calm down my muscle shaking from the crap meds and so on. Eat, somedays shower, look at the screen of the computer, get tired eventually and go back to sleep. Crippling is pretty much the word for it!

Yeah, I wish literally anything could happen to stop me from repeating the same mood cycle over and over, but nothing ever changes and it just gets worse.
Anhedonia?
Seems like it tbh

I've tried all sorts of stuff... Side activities, training, going outside to do other stuff. Everything goes back to the same freaking cycle. It's so bad and annoying at times. Sorry you are experiencing it in the same fashion too!

Someone once said to me boredom is my own refusal to be me. And its been stuck in my head...

I feel you. It's really hard for me to get into new things because of my resistance to change and god awful attention span. And the things I do manage to force myself into just don't give much (if any) enjoyment anymore. I'm so tired of the same old things over and over and being mentally blocked from new things. I just want to end it instead of suffering like this

It's too bad that the only things that can get rid of those feelings for me are destructive in nature.
