I'm considering using hanging as a method, but there is no strong enough anchor on my ceilings to do it. I'm wondering if hanging myself on a tree branch would work. Obviously I'd need to find a strong branch and someplace deep in the woods, but I'm curious to know if its possible and/or if its a good idea.

Idk if it helps, but for reference I'm 64kg. I'm not sure how much weight a tree branch can take

Test a branch.

Anchor your rope and pull yourself up on the rope, bounce about and see if it feels solid.

Your dint even need the rope, just hang on the branch and feel how strong it is.
