• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Hello I've been considering of changing my location to a public park that's near me instead of doing it at my home and potentially traumatizing my family. Let me preface to say that I don't care about traumatizing complete strangers so don't try to talk to me about it, but if there's any way I can help minimize that then so be it. I'm most likely doing this at night when no ones there and is easy to trespass at night if I walk there, and I will set up in the forest somewhere behind the park. I still need to scout the area to find a tree that I can reach for to tie the strap down and support my weight.
Anyway I was wondering if there is anything I should bring extra to help out with the process and/or to the people who find my body? A flashlight most definitely, my ID of course to help with identifying myself. Perhaps even some caution tape or a warning sign that says there's a dead body ahead call 911 or something? Or is that too much?

If it helps get an idea, here's a rough layout of the park with the x indicating where I plan to set up in the forest:

I didn't ask for risk assessments, I asked about if there's anything I should bring. If I hear people then I'll back out but I doubt it since it'll be late at night and people will most likely stay near the park instead of going far back into the forest. If it means minimizing the pain for my family then fuck the risks.

I don't really think it is the best location but seeing as you are set on doing it away from home and prefaced your post by saying that being found by strangers isn't a deterrent, I won't try to convince you otherwise.

I was wondering if it was possible to set up a delayed message (if in the form of a text message, then do bring your phone) to be sent to your local emergency services with details about your location. If something like this can be done, then you can be certain that your body will be recovered by authorities and hopefully it can be removed before strangers accidentally stumble upon you.

Regardless, I wish you all the best. I'm terribly sorry that you feel that this is your only recourse. No matter what, until the end, please be kind to yourself.

Someone thought they'd be clever and do it in the woods in a park which happened to behind a school. An elementary school class found the body and I can't imagine traumatizing kids like that. Be Smart.

Finally some input, Thank you.
It's the best location near me that's has a big enough forest where I can atleast have some privacy and some scenery but where my body can be found. I don't know enough about using a delayed text message so I haven't considered it. I kinda feel it may add an extra worry I don't want. If it's easy then tell me more about it. Though I don't see the problem with the original plan since it won't be far from the parking lot (maybe a mile or two at most) and many people hike through there during the day so sooner or later my body will be found eventually. Plus I'm hesitant on wanting to bring my phone cause it'll probably make me get distracted and become doubtful like for example if my mother or people on here message me around the time I'm doing it and it'll guilt trip me and maybe make me back out.

With the consideration of hanging in the park, I'd say that having all those signs up could help, but if there is like a patrol (late at night), then you might risk being discovered before you have fully CTB'd. This means that going as quietly as possible and with the least amount of hints or flags (like signs or caution tape) around the area where you are CTB'ing.

About a month ago some guy who lives a few blocks from where I live (in a populated city) jumped off the top of a building to kill himself. His body was just in the middle of the road.
glad I wasn't there to see it.

if you hang in public there's a chance of a kid finding your body. try to do it somewhere you know kids won't be. it's not worth traumatizing a child...

Well it isn't behind or near a school thankfully. And quite frankly besides doing it at home I don't have many other options in my city near me that has a secluded area to hide and attempt in. Besides maybe a few other public parks but they are smaller and risk me being caught sooner or a couple national parks which are far and I know nothing about the terrain and risk my body never being found at all.. Either way it seems I'm going to traumatize somebody, children likely included, but I rather that not be my family. It's a fucked up situation but like I said please don't try to guilt trip me about this. Input accepted though.

Thank you I appreciate it, though I'm not leaving just yet I'm just thinking about my plans. Hugs.

There wasn't any patrol every time I went there since the bar gate or whatever is always closed off. There are cops near the area but mainly patrol the roads so I don't think it won't be a problem. It's a risk for sure but I think it can be done.

Um I don't see how this is relevant but ok.

It's not in a public space it's a secluded spot in the forest about a mile or two away behind the park. Why do y'all keep bringing up the children? That's why I even asked if I should put a warning sign or put up caution tape to alert them. Like I'm sorry but what else is there for me to do? I don't want traumatize my family and I don't want to traumatize children or anybody else but wtf can I do about it if I can only choose one like goddamn. I hate the situation all the more but they are complete strangers to me and Im a complete nobody to them.
