Right now late stage capitalism is one of the main reasons why I want to end my own life. I'm probably not gonna make it to my 40s either way because of greedy landlords, unaffordable healthcare, low wages, etc. Thousands of people are losing their homes because of greedy landlords and banks. Cars are becoming more and more unaffordable, and it's gonna be so bad if gas cars actually get banned. There's no real point of me continuing on honestly, nothing brings me happiness anymore

I hope I can pull the trigger soon. I am very pessimistic as well about the US and the way my life is going.

Please please please if you go and have no heirs max out every credit card you have and default before dying.

Throw a wrench in the evil American machinery.

Take an auto loan, wreck it and leave the banks with no collateral or better yet scrap it or take it out of the country and sell it .

Anyone that leaves a hole in the balance sheet of an American bank is a hero

If you are brave enough to do this in China you are even more of a hero

Are you an expert in economics or political science? More importantly, are you basing your dire predictions on any scientific consensus? If not, reevaluate your assumptions. While there are short term and local fluctuations, people as a whole are better off now than any time, controlling for the pandemic.

Our biggest problem is not "late stage capitalism," but rather that everyone thinks themselves an expert on every topic. See, e.g., covid/vax protesters, flat Earthers, climate change deniers, etc.

We probably disagree on some things but I just want to say I hope things get better for you. I definitely know what it's like to not be able to afford healthcare that could really help me and have asshole landlords who only care about locking you into a lease in one of their noisy paper mache torture chambers and will do nothing to help.

I'd say make sure you're doing everything you can that's best for yourself and not making rash decisions as a desperate statement. Especially if the people you're angry with might be too callous to care anyway.

Totally understand what u mean. We will be far less free in the future because of tyrants controlling the banks. They have always controlled the money but what they want to implement next is a system where regular people will never be free again to the degree that previous generations enjoyed. The NWO, Agenda 2030, Great Reset is not going to be some pleasant utopia, at least not for us. It will be nice only for the wealthy ruling people.

Lets fking go!!! We need more people repeating conspiracy talking points and not modern leftist gibberish. They love to talk about "capitalism bad" but somehow the idea that rich people network and coordinate themselves to enslave the poor is impossible to fathom for them. It´s literally developing their point about why capitalism bad but since it might be a "rightwing conspiracy theory" they wouldn´t touch it with a stick.

I was under the impression that if you die with any debts those get passed on to immediate family - like parents or siblings. Is this incorrect? I don't have a will and what money I have left will be offset by my current debt. Curious cause I kinda would enjoy that freedom to just spend a bunch in the few days or so leading up to ctb but don't really wanna put any financial burden on family if that's the case.

I don't know. I wasn't alive when other systems were used, so...

heard that the pre-agriculture period (paleolithic), when we were hunter-gatheres, was cool, though.

All your unsecured debts die with you in the United States. Money will be taken from your estate to pay them but if you had no money in your estate to begin with then the debts are just gone.

Your family members can never be held liable for your debts

Other jurisdictions like japan have different rules

not a bad idea, but doesnt this also give money to capitalists if youre buying commodities? like i get that its taking money from banks, but if youre just buying corporate products youre just moving that money to corporations which isnt any better. imo its better to redistribute the money to the poor. like max out credit cards by donating a shitton to poor people, or buying art from small artists or something

dude wtf that is literally antisemitic conspiracy theory bs. we're talking about capitalism here, y'know the actual real-world system that's actually materially exploiting workers and oppressing people and destroying the planet.
