When I was young, I feared death, quite a lot. I mean, that's normal, we are unaware of what awaits us after death, so that can be daunting.

However, I have sort of come to terms with death. I did it by thinking to myself, "Everyone dies, why are you so scared? Everyone has to go through it". That made me think of death as a normal thing, which didn't seem as scary anymore.

Another way is, for us depressed people, I have seen death as a gift. Just imagine if we had to endure this pain forever and never be able to die? I think nature has blessed us with the possibility of death, and not just that, but suicide which speeds up the process.

That's great, I think not fearing death is a very healthy attitude.
