Hello everyone,
So i am planning to ctb using charcoal burning in a tent. I'm looking for a place for camping, but the problem is that i cant just show up on site with only a tent, a bbq grill, some charcoal, and a co detector. It looks way too suspicious. So i have to make it look like im a normal camper u know? But i have no idea what to brimg and i suck at this. Anyone here is a adept of camping that could help me out please? Thanks

That's one reason why I passed on this method, though if you can get it to work it could be a very peaceful way to go. Does anyone really inspect every little thing you bring to a campsite? Don't you just drive in and your stuff is in the trunk?

The larger red-flag (possibly) would be that you're camping alone. Not that it doesn't happen, it's just not that common. Most people go camping with other people of some sort. Your method should be sound, especially since you say you are going to use a meter.

I thought of this several years ago but was looking to rent a car and use a hose from the exhaust pipe into the tent at a more remote camping site. I wasn't sure that it would work but I gave it a bit of thought.

Nobody will inspect your car, assuming you are going in a car. If you're talking about other supplies then yeah, you must be driving. Typically at a camp, if it's a tent, one might see an ice chest, a folding chair, hammock maybe, but in all practicality it doesn't take much. You'll likely only pay for one night, right, so you wouldn't have much.
Don't go on a weekend, if you're in the northern hemisphere, weather is improving, people are getting out.
I've been to some sites where nobody is around for quite a ways. You can drive through some grounds to spot a site whereas others there's a gate. Choose a campground that's not as popular, research online.
