Discussion Choking on food

Is it possible to choke yourself on a piece of food? Heard if you ate a large piece of steak its possible. Considering something like this as it would look like an accident

How would you do it though. Normally food won't go down your windpipe if it goes into your throat and gets stuck there don't think it will cause airloss

stuff toilet paper down the throat lots of it

Last year a young man (maybe 20 years old?) died in my village. I heard he ate pizza and choked on it.

Dying like this is definetely possible if you "inhale" a chunk of solid food, but choking automatically causes you to panic which makes the entire thing unpleasant to say the least.

Someone I know went to the hospital with a piece of meat stuck down in the throat and had it removed. They werent really choking on it, it was stuck.
I saved my moms life when she was choking on food blocking her windpipe using the Heimlich manuver.
