PPH says that you should take 3x10mg metoclopramide 40 minutes before drinking chloroquine because the taste of chloroquine is extremely bitter. I will be using Farhex(R) to numb my tongue before I drink my chloroquine so I shouldn't vomit because of the bitter taste.
I have a few questions:
1) PPH says that chloroquine is rapidly absorbed from the gut. What does that mean? Will the chloroquine be in my bloodstream immediately after drinking chloroquine?
2) Is there a risk of vomiting after drinking chloroquine?
3) Is carbamazepine effective taken immediately after chloroquine? Carbamazepine contains barbiturates, diazepam, cimetidine. I am thinking about taking 4x200 mg of it.
Any idea is appreciated.
Thanks
