Everything they teach you in your childhood is false they show you this perfect cartoon world where everyone is laughing and happy there is no suffering no illness no death the good always overcome the evil at the end your efforts always pays off but that the reality is completely opposite most of them are suffering physically or mentally diseases like cancer kill innocent kids hardwork almost never pays off and horrible things happen to good people and religion indoctrination is the worst mental abuse because when it shatters in the adult age the whole foundation that our life was based on collapses and we have to go through the worst form of depression and anxiety

There has to be a balance between trying to instill hope onto children and trying to ease it into difficult adult problems. I had to go through the collapse and had a hard time actually getting up. At least, I try to make my reality a bit more lighthearted, and try my best to transfer that to my friends and to you guys. 🧸

I started reading newspaper as a kid. And all the firsts really shocked me, like state machinery can shoot down children point-blank, it was chilling.

I think reading news either in paper or digital format still is very worthwhile, and I believe it will create a responsible society. And depending on the media one can be resistant to propaganda to a high extent

Uh, what? I never remember being taught about the world being perfect when I was a kid. Most adults around me, from family to my teachers, were usually willing to, in some capacity, be honest uglier aspects of the world. It feels like you are just making a big generalization.

Apparently you also lost faith in commas and punctuations. 😁

Thank you, mama bear. It honestly helps a bit.
