Hey, how many threads are required to unlock chat in this forum?

I checked the FAQ and it seems the number is secret:

"How can I create a thread, send a PM to a user, or join the chat?
The permissions to create a thread, send and receive PMs, and use the chatroom will be granted automatically after you post a certain secret number of times and are active for at least 24 hours. This is to avoid spam and abuse of accounts."

Just keep interacting and you'll unlock it sooner than expected I bet.

Yeh true. I also think commenting whether on games in off topic or just getting reaction score up helps.

I'm also trying to unlock the chat, I know that it's to reduce spam, but still it's kind of discouraging not knowing when you'll be able to talk with others. (btw, not related, do you talk spanish?)

I remember feeling the same. It's terrible, especially when you're super anxious like me haha.

Yes, I just want to talk to people, but I can't, and it's really hard to find people with whom you can talk about suicide freely

Yes. Just click your pic and go to "account details" or just to this link and you'll get the change username option and you'll have to give a reason for the change request. (if you don't that option available, maybe you need more posts for that too)

I feel as though I have been active far longer than 24 hours, maybe I'm missing something… This place has been a huge comfort for me so I spend a lot of time just reading posts.
Edit: Ah nvm, I suddenly just unlocked it!
