I love Fall. Halloween is my Christmas too. I was thinking about the upcoming one, and what a difference a year can make. Last year was my best Halloween since I was a kid. We have a gathering in my city where kids can trick or treat the businesses, and even adults dress up. There are vendors selling things. It's a Halloween carnival really. Of all the years I've lived here, last year was the first one where I dressed up. My costume drew lots of attention. And I never broke character.

I felt great! People were stopping me to take pictures with me, and pretty girls who normally would never pay any attention to me wanted me to attack them! I felt like a million bucks. Only months later the worst part of my life started, and now Halloween is coming again. I think, if I'm still here, I'll go. Is it OK to wear the same costume 2 years in a row? But it got me to thinking about evil. Then Hell, and the devil. It would be fun to go as the Devil. But then it got me to thinking about all the evil that goes with the symbol, but for real. All the things from our daily misery, to the unspeakable. It got me to wondering if we should be giving praise to the thing that brings evil into the world. Or, at lease, symbolically. I'm not a believer myself. But then I also wondered if Hell and the Devil are a representation of evil that finds its way to our Earth, or if they are a representation of our evil?
