Instead of just posting a single word, we're building a story, one sentence at a time.

**How to Play:**
1. The first person will start us off with a sentence to kick off the story.
2. Each player following must use the last word of the previous sentence as inspiration for their own sentence.
3. The goal is to keep the story going and see where it takes us!

Under the dim glow of the streetlight, a shadow lingered just beyond the edge of sight.

Sight is usually a wonderful thing, but when you lay your eyes on a person watching you with eyes full of rage and a knife in their hand, you'll change your mind.

And the mind is a tricky place. Diving in is now made simple with the latest crossminded-platform technology. However, adjusting to the new thought patterns and avoiding being swallowed by the subconscious is never an easy process.

Before you have the chance to process the figure standing there with a knife, they vanish.

 

[Shadows From Hell]

You look around into the darkness, searching for the figure, seeing nothing but shadows from the moonlit sky.

The moonlit sky reminds you of the time when you and a far away friend glanced at the moon, each from their place, allowing you both to share the peace and serenity of the night in spite of the distance.

Suddenly, realizing that there is no far away distance between you and the shadow, you stop dead in your tracks and try to ascertain what it was that caught your attention.

You slowly walk in the direction you first saw the figure. Not knowing what to expect, you clench both fists tight, ready to start throwing punches if needed.

When you realise the huge scary shadow was actually, a small kitten. But there was something odd, the kitten had red eyes and was walking on two legs. The kitten also stared very intensely at you.
