If you play, I would like to hear you. The cello is pretty much the only joy I have anymore.

This is a short form of Shostakovich Prelude. I played the bottom end first, then played over it.

Thanks, sorry i missed this, i'm almost at the three year mark. i still can't believe i actually have a cello.

While i'm at it, does this sound like anything/something ? It's been stuck in my head for a year or so. i'm not super creative in writing music so i'm pretty sure it's from something-ish.

Cellos to me have always been so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. My biggest regret is that my sisters both play, but I don't.

You're really good. That took me back to elementary. Our school had an orchestra and I played viola from like 4th to 6th grade.

Vals Venezolano No. 2 by Antonio Lauro practice/wip
I couldn't find a single cello version of this piece so i had to figure it out.
The one section is wrong-ish but i have figured out how to emulate a guitar type feel to it yet.
My good bridge broke so i had to use one i made out of poplar.
My A and D strings broke so i'm stuck for the forseeable future with bad spelling and a tinny high end.
How did hatred become a labour of love ? Mad [bleeping] world, right ?
I had to bounce due to nosy family member to be polite about it.
I apologize for not giving proper goodbyes at the time.
Trashed my old machine and got a new one, not rich just lucky/fortunate.
Note: my upload seems to be crossed out..... grr. grr, i say.
To be clear this sound yuck, just doing this to eliminate confusion.
Would like to have done this on guitar but i can't play it anymore.

The continuity of my other thread was broken and can't be repaired.
probably/likely mostly waltzes, cello doesn't swing the same way as guitar, it's throwing me off.

So i heard, i had been dropping in from time to time just to not feel disconnected, i read that thread about dropping the hammer on non-members and freaked a little. It's moving toward winter so this time of year foward till spring nobody will be trying to sneak up on me.

Okay, so i'm doing a project focused on learning klezmer.
I'm starting with Sherele, i played till my arm gave out, started this morning, so this is my first progress post.
I'm going by the wisdom that performance is the best practice.
Having mic problems, new machine. =/
