Method Caustic Soda as a method?

I know a few people use Caustic Soda as a way to CTB, would it be a good method to use? I really couldn't care less if I go through pain or not, I'm just ready to accept my fate of dying early.

I have caustic soda at home, and I can say that it might be one of the most painful methods to commit suicide, probably even more so than hanging (though I'm not certain about that). Caustic soda is extremely corrosive, and if ingested, it causes severe damage to internal organs, corroding them and leading to prolonged and excruciating suffering. I've read about cases where some people, after ingesting caustic soda with the intention of ending their lives, chose to jump to their deaths to escape the unbearable pain they were experiencing.

I used to work with caustic, I've had it sprayed lightly in my face and felt fire for an hour afterword. You're not gonna get a sip down before you're calling an ambulance. I would absolutely not try this. Death by caustic is not a good idea I'm sorry.

there are much easier and more guaranteed ways than maiming yourself internally. I hope you rethink this. We have a whole list of ideas on here that actually work, have you checked them out? None of them call out to you?

With the ingestion of 50 grams it is certainly lethal and you would suffer a lot for many hours. Pain and burns and vomiting etc etc...

However, if you love extreme suffering it is one of the most suitable methods. Only you know what you like.

Not really. I once tried the "night night" method with a scarf and some socks, it did make me pass out but not long enough to actually cut oxygen and kill me. Quickest and most "painless" method I've seen is a gun to the head but I ain't got money for that. My best methods would be something chemical or jumping from a building.

Dude as crazy as it is for me to say, I would jump from a building over caustic and even that seems like a lot of extra misery before the end. I'm obviously with you on this, there is no judgment ever at all, just the goal of all this is to get away from constant pain, not possibly putting yourself in tremendous amounts of pain that you may in fact live through. A friend of mine drank bleach in high school, well my friends younger brother, and he torched his insides and survived. Please check over that list again.

Yeah, I've been going through chronic abdominal pain since I've had a surgery. It's unbearable and I can't fucking take it anymore. That, on top of the fact that I'm not supposed to live this long, fucking sucks. Thank you for at least making me feel a little special in my last moments.

ugh I actually understand the abdominal pain, I have chronic emesis that puts me in the hospital often, I've posted about it on here before. That quite literally makes me want to kill myself it is the most unbearable thing I've ever had to deal with and there is no sign of it abating. I wish we both had answers for it. Just the extreme pain. I'm sorry dude. I wish it didn't always seem like God is fuckin with us all the time.
Whatever you come up with for your next plan, it would be cool if you posted it here or even messaged me, I would like to know. Of course it is your business.

Please don't do this to your self. Most chances are you will suffer so badly and rushed to the ER where they will try to save you and keep you alive as much as they can. Successful CTB needs planing and considering the limited methods available.

Generally speaking, you should not use meth ingredients to CTB.

Cutting your own throat with a sharp knife is a much easier and painless method. There are few methods that could be described as more painful, long-lasting and worse than caustic soda. Don't do it!

Honestly I think its a method that, like jumping, most people regret the moment they initiate the act.
Simply put, caustic soda (lye) "eats" flesh, dissolving everything in its path in the body.
Criminal organizations used it to dissolve bodies.
Personally, though its obviously lethal, regret & SI will kick in the minute its swallowed, leading to a rather slow torturous death as your inside dissolve. I'll cross this method off my list!
