Most cartel tortures last no more than 5 minutes, then they kill the victim totally.

Meanwhile, mainstream society and government do everything they can to PREVENT people, who suffer, from ending it, for over 60+ years! Lots of that suffering is CAUSED by society in the first place, just like the torture was caused by the cartel. But one ends the victim after just 5 minutes while the other says "life is precious bro" as they leave you in a ditch in agonizing pain for DECADES!
