Hello,
I am wanting to die from partial suspension hanging. I keep practicing with my hands to find the carotid arteries and squeeze them until I pass out. I think I feel them, pulsing either side of my throat but I don't pass out when I squeeze them. I'm in a secure hospital so can't just practice with ligature all the time. I would like to succeed in passing out using my hands first to ensure I'm getting the right spot.
Any advice on locating and compressing them?
Thank you

Don´t do it in hospital, they will find you before you are dead

You can go out for the day, I'm informal at the moment, so will do it out in the woods somewhere away from people.

Ok, then it could work. But do you think you will come out completely in the next feww days/weeks? It´s definitive better tzhan to wait so you have enough time for practice and hanging yourself then.

When I was confined I felt around for my arteries for quite a while and found them on each side of my adams apple, up higher than I thought. After pushing back (not squeezing), in the direction of the spine, I started to lose consciousness. I let go because I was about to pass out. The fact that I had to press in so deep confirmed what I have read that you will need something to put pressure on the arteries. So you can experiment in the hospital to pass the time but I think it's unlikely you will be able to rig anything with materials at hand while you are there. But after you find them you will feel a little relief that you made progress and it'll help you make it through your stay.

I will be out Soonish but when I get home I will be watched. Getting out on my own on day release will be the only time I'm not watched

Ok. So it´s better now, but then I would choose full suspension it´s more failsafe

Thank you for your reply, if I go out on day release I will be on my own and will be able to obtain materials from the town. I tried next to my Adam's apple, harder because I'm female. I felt the pulsing arteries but when I squeezed I guess is squeezed into Adam's apple. I'll try again with my hands following your instructions. What do you think you will need to compress the Rteries when doing it for real? I was going to use shoelace or para cord as I'm not going to be putting too much weight on it.

I wouldn't do full suspension, I'm very heavy and I couldn't take the pain on my neck. I would rather the do the exit bag but that is much harder to sort and I don't have lots of time. Most hangings are partial though and if done right are very successful. That's why I'm trying to get practice in.

I see. Be sure to use a slipknot and a not too thick and not too thin rope

Ok I may have been thinking of the night night method. I really haven't studied these methods enough and I don't know much about partial hanging I thought it was the same. When I was confined I had no internet access and was just winging it and got happy when I almost passed out thinking I'd found the right spot. If you can feel your carotid pulsing and press hard enough to shut them off in several seconds you will feel a tingling in your head. That's as far as I got.

I did this in hospital but I couldn't breathe so panicked. It's virtually impossible to strangle yourself. I pressed the alarm but it didn't work.
Then I twisted the ligature and the knot must have hit the right spot as I could breathe and quickly passed out.
Unfortunately, someone did see me. I think there was a small amount of damage from lack of oxygen. I was unable to see for about half an hour and I had been given CPR.
The hospital I was in had 3 levels of monitoring. Level 1 which is every hour. Level 2 which is every 15 minutes. And level 3 which is being watched 24/7.
It will be very hard to do this in hospital even if you are on hourly observations.
Good luck.

my skin is pretty thin there I can see my veins I think, so sometimes I have thought if I could cut my way through into them, I actually have a pretty good tolerance for pain, I do my own surgeries and injections without lidocaine.
Avicci cut there with glass, I thought of this as my attempt if I end up too sick to think or order things to ctb, so a knife is always around or scissors. I also read
that the veins go deep, that because skin and tissue over them is to protect them, thats why we should never cut our wrists, it never works.
