I have a 2003 toyota Corolla with 190k mileage. Do you guys think it will work if I put in my garage and keep it on overnight.

Why does this method keep being perpetuated? IT DOESN'T WORK unless the car is really old. 2003 isn't old enough.

If you unscrewed the catalytic convertor or took it off and destroyed the honeycomb filter inside.

Car in garage is an obvious suicide anyway so you could just take the filter off. Doesn't look that hard to do actually I watched a YouTube on it today.

Taking a cat off is easy. But you don't need to even really try that hard. Just cut the pipe with a saw in front of the device. exhaust isnt secured to the car, just hung with rubber stoppers. one cut and you can slide the sections apart and away you go.
