Help Can't find my hanging spot because my Adam's apple is in the way. Any help?

I'd say my apple is about the size of half of my neck, except right in the middle obviously. No matter where, how long or how hard I press, my neck hurts, but I don't feel dizzy.

I've heard someone say the artery is up between your neck and your head, some others say it's around the apple... But either way I can't find it.

Can someone please help me?
