I want to test (!) partial hanging. I've finally found the sweet spot. Im using a tie to compress my carotids. I feel dizzy and vision goes darker!
But didnt have the courage to test the fainting. My question: If I faint, how long will I be unconscious? And could I die by accident, if I did something wrong?
You can definitely faint to the point where you will not be able to recover from your body going lump. When you start shaking after this point it happens to be only a matter of seconds when you reach full unconsciousness and then you die.
I also managed to locate my sweet spot and I can achieve the state of almost fainting by simply having the noose around my neck and pulling up with an according force ( I use rope ).
During my last attempt I went to an abandoned building outside the town. The building inside had these pipes that were just high enough for me to get it done. I managed to find an old wooden basket laying around so I used it as a platform to drop off of. It was wet and definitely not reliable but it was enough to hold me for a couple of minutes.
So I got my head into the noose while standing on that barely dry basket. I can't remember if I was actually ready or if I was just testing how it feels. At some point I was just standing there and thinking what is going on when that thing I stood on snapped in half resulting me having only one leg on it and the other half of my weight in the air.
I can clearly remember how fast everything went black and my body started to shake and I almost lost control over it. I tried to pull myself up by holding on pipes but I had barely any control over my hands. Eventually I managed to pull closer with my one leg the remains of that damn basket and then pull myself back to standing position.
It's almost surreal how close I was but I was not panicking after I took off the noose. In fact I was at such peace I haven't been at for a long time. It was like a sneak peak to the other side and I am glad to know how calm it is there and I can't wait to get there for ever.
