Hi so I just wanted to know if overdosing on beta blockers would be effective? They slow down heart rate and I'm assuming if you take too much it might do that job a little too well and you would be able to CTB. Maybe this is a stupid question idk but it makes sense in my head lol. Are the side effects really bad? Is it not that effective? I currently have access to propranolol though I don't think thats even a strong enough beta blocker to be able to die with anyways.

This isn't really a method I'm planning on doing, just more of a curiosity question.

Short answer: yes.

BUT: It's hard to determine a reliable dose. And the side effects can be nasty if you fail, which is likely.

The bottom line is I wouldn't recommend it. Just like if you asked if you could use sandpaper instead of toilet paper. Technically speaking, you could, but it's not the best idea.

I clenched with your sandpaper analogy
