Discussion Can someone make a pro-choice anime?

Someone should definitely make an anime about it. A slice of life one. "In a world where CBT is not only legal, painless, easily accessible, but also socially acceptable, life looks a whole lot different. [Name 1] has been thinking about ending it for quiet some time, but after meeting [Name 2], they're no longer quite so sure they want to CBT just yet." Ideally at the end it's a double, together. Would deal with stuff like accepting a loved one's choice, how society would be different, and all sorts of things like that. Really showcase the amazing potential a world like that could hold.

No clue what that is, but was talking about slice of life. Where nobody is forced to keep living if they legitimately don't want to anymore. Etc.

It would showcase a better future that we could have if pro forced lifers could simply choose KINDNESS over CRUELTY, you know?

And yet the animes that romanticize nonconsentual you know what have no problems even though one is infinitely worse than the other. Humans are horrible. Can our species just go extinct already at this point??? Irredeemable...

i think futurama was just trying to make an edgy joke, no hate, love futurama. it could also be subtle messaging, but you never really know unless they outwardly say it, which on this topic seems unlikely.

I can only think of anti animes. The only ones that characters do die or for plot and come right back because time travel.

There is one anime on a similar theme called "Babylon".This is a story about how suicide was legalized.
