Can I even become unconscious during suicide if I already can't fall asleep (my issue is similar to sleep apnea)

Sorry if the question seems confusing, English is not my native language.

My concern is that I will suffer more if I can't become unconscious during suicide. My preferred method would be full hanging but even if I take SN what if I can't go unconscious because I stop breathing and wake up immediately.

You'll pass out from lack of oxygen to the brain if you do either method correctly. Your problems with sleeping will have little to no effect on it. Just make sure you're fully committed to it first. If there's any shred of doubt you should reconsider or delay it until you're absolutely sure.

No problem, again though, don't do anything unless you're absolutely sure. There's no coming back from it if you're successful. Even practice attempts at hanging can be deadly.

To some degree yes. However, I believe you can reach a point to where even the SI won't effect you. I've seen videos and heard of people going through with some absolutely terrible methods in a very cold and determined fashion. Methods that would require absolute disregard for SI.

Sorry, not trying to be insensitive, but if using SN you get to the point that you stopped breathing then congratulations, you just reached your destination aka death. So unless you're a zombie (this is the mental imagine that made me laugh) the kind that goes from being killed to suddenly coming alive with only "I want to eat brains" on their mind, I think you'll be fine.
