I saw a thread about this but I can't find it now, if I tie the noose on the bar thwt goes along the closet in a room, and tie the end going around my neck by a slipknot, and if I place my head in it, tighten it and then apply pressure down will I die?

Si is something for thr couscoious mind. Once your lights are out you gonna twitch due to hypoxia ans muscle spasms but there is no vulenteerly standing up.

I think SI will kick in. It kicks in when you body starts to naturally fight for itself even when unconscious. It can wake you back up. That's the thing with partial. It can work and sometimes it can work as you are practicing and that could be your end. However I think it generally does not work and that's why you see so many trying it without success. Kicking out the chair and dangling without touching is the way to truly commit, but alas, much harder to do.

of course it is your body reacting to having lack of oxygen. there are the in-between states when you in-between passing out and waking up which is where SI can kick in.
