Has anyone considered them plastic cable ties (zip tie) just pulling it tight sure that would bypass SI.
thoughts?

Unless your arms/legs also happen to be tied... I think you'd still have SI once the zip-tie is "too tight" (e.g. flailing around looking for something to cut yourself free so you can breathe)

Yeah, if you get rid of anything you could use to cut it from the immediate environment then there's no chance of being able to back out.

You would need to be certain of your actions beforehand however. And that you understand the course your death would take using this method.
