I want to burn myself (not ctb) but make it seem like an accident because i seem to not be able to hide my body effectively. I used to cut but eventually my family found out and forced me to therapy which I breezed through. Now I can't SH anymore so im thinking of other methods to do it. I've drained blood before but it isn't as painful as cutting. I now want to burn my left hand and wrist using boiling water ( dunno if it will be effective though I only thought about it not done it) and make it seem like an accident either while showering or cooking. Can you suggest more excuses or senarios. I think this is the correct place to post this😭.

I SH by smacking my arm with a hammer. It doesn't leave permanent marks, is easily excused and if I want to feel the pain again I just press the bruise.

Since you already have a history with selfharm there's a large change that people will find recurring marks suspicious.
Do they check your body? Otherwise you could try different spots on your body.

Is there a reason you want to selfharm again? You could also look for a healthier replacement to get a similar stimulus depending in what you get out of it.

boiling water is hot, around 100°C.

It hurts the skin and leaves ugly scars that cause permanent pain. OK?

I guess they don't check my body but I don't try to hide it and it would be suspicious to do so.

I don't know i think im addicted to it and I've been thinking about it for days nonstop i just want to do it.
I don't know about a healthier approach i will try to stop myself from doing it if i don't do it soon to get over with it.

What do you get out of selfharm? Figuring that out can help to find a replacement.

For example: if it's frustration and sh is an outlet you could try screaming in a pillow or going outside to sprint

I don't like scars. That's a problem if i have to see them often on my left hand

I started doing it as a punishment but kept doing it out of habit when i felt like it. I guess when i was mad at someone.
