Discussion Buried or cremated?

I want no funeral, I wanna be cremated and my ashes spread at the samalayuca desert which is not that far from where I live.

I would like to be cremated. I would like my ashes to be spread somewhere nice where my family can visit, but I'm not sure about the location yet. I don't want a funeral as well since it's a lot of money and I know that barely anyone would show up.

Same. I hate that idea. I have strong feelings about this. Also I think it's a waste of land filling it with dead people.. cemeteries etc..Cremation then scattering somewhere feels sort of spiritual to me. I've already chosen a place to be scattered that I consider beautiful and it makes me feel so content.

I voted for other because I don't really care if my remains are buried, cremated, eaten by buzzards, or anything else. Of course, with the third option I mentioned, at least the animals would be getting something to eat so they don't go hungry. I guess in that case, it would be doing some good.

Considering how I really don't give a shit about my body after my death, the best thing would probably be donating it to scientific research (after proper organ donation), at least I will be more useful in my death than what I've ever been while alive.

I'd prefer to be just cremated and maybe scattered around everywhere so even then there would be no trace of me, not even ashes remain. Or better yet, maybe used for other purposes like science or anatomy. Personally, I don't (and can't) care about what happens after I'm dead, that is up to the living to decide, but my suffering will end when death arrives.

I used to have grand dreams of being cremated and my ashes scattered in the ocean at my favorite spot in Maui. That will never happen as nobody will make that trip.

I've read up on those tree pod burials which are very cool, but expensive so also not an option sadly as nobody to pay for it.

By the time I ctb the only person who gives half a shit about me will be gone... so i figure they can cremate me where they do all the unwanted shelter animals and dispose of me with their ashes.

You're normally cremated-and-buried where I am, that way family doesn't have to carry an urn, but there's not a massive digging expense, but also not a rush, granted the plots are different that way like double or quad occupancy that way (seriously should be infinite, but still).

Mine's all planned and paid for. When I die, someine just has to call a number, quote my account numver and tell them where my body is. Cheap as chips - body collected, no embalming, cardboard coffin, no service, no mourners (prob only be one if i had a traditional funeral), cremation at an unknown crematorium, ashes disposed off. Why? Because I'm pretty sure the family would argue over whose responsibility it was to pay for it all, but mostly because I think that if no one bothers about me now, whilst I'm alive, I don't want them displaying their 'grief' for me after I'm gone.
