So because I'm not a big eater I have a tendency to get low blood pressure. I know that loss of large volumes of blood can mimic blood pressure, obviously. Some days for me are worse than others I guess I have skipped too many days without eating salt for much food at all because this was my evening. Sorry for the blurry picture I was too dizzy to hold the camera straight.

The symptoms of this were extreme dizziness, nausea , headache, Felt very cold, and sweating. Is this really what it feels like to bleed to death, as it was pretty awful. I assume if you bleed to death properly the process would be rapid, but let's be realistic it's probably going to be relatively slow considering none of us are experts. I've always wanted to consider bleeding out as a back up option, but considering how horrendous a rapid drop in blood pressure feels I can't imagine it being a real option.

I was just standing there making dinner everything was fine and I just started feeling really bad. I tried to push through but it just got worse and worse until I had to sit down and it took several minutes to recover. Ex told me if I wasn't able to drink and eat immediately I was going to the hospital. I did manage to get some fluids in me and my blood pressure normalized.

and before anyone asks yes I have a blood pressure cuff, I also have a pulse ox, as well as a lot of other medical supplies in the house I wont explain why lol.

Hi RoseyBird, i've seen here lots of others thinking of this method. I've done some reading about it in the past. Unfortunately, Theres only a 5% chance you'll die with losing blood, and you will probably only end up hurting yourself in the process. A female with a weight of 50kg has about 3L of blood flowing through her. if she loses at least 1L then she will die. For a child or elderly person it might even be less. But losing blood is no easy task. You can cut your cartoid artery on either wrist. The blood will splurt out all over the room and you might faint. However the other cartoid artery that carries blood to your brain is still functional so you might even be conscious for several minutes and witness the entire ordeal. When you lose blood rapidly organs of the body will do its best to replenish your supply, so you might have to lose even more blood (up to 70%) before you actually die. There will be all kinds of other complications and pain as you could imagine. If you survive there is going to a permanent wound on your wrists. There are MUCH better ways to die than this. I think out of all the methods i read, this is one of the worst methods available. If you're feeling dizzy from lack of food you might already be halfway their though. I suggest reading up on hypoklemia. That might be another way way to go out.. I think you should eat a healthy diet though, so you can have the energy to figure a way out of your situation, whether that may mean to die or keep on living.

hypoklemia would quite slow and unpleasant it seems. My plan is SN, and back up is partial. I suppose it's just nice to have the thought of having a lighter tricks up one sleeve. Especially ones that could be achieved quickly. I do have scalpels on hand, and anatomical knowledge. A lot of times I just worry that my SN will either be found, or I won't have enough time to actually make logical preparation.

dietary inadequacies are definitely not intentional, and a byproduct of depression and busyness. It is just unfortunate to see how unbelievably uncomfortable sudden loss of blood pressure really is. I don't think I have the balls of steel that it would require to go for the larger arteries.

I also wanted to mention this for the sake of how many people I've talked to on here recently who have asked about cutting as an option for a method of death. I don't think a lot of people realize how ill and uncomfortable bleeding actually makes a person.
