Blackjack - Thinking of you

This isn't an obituary or a goodbye thread.

Certain events happened today which led to a member and a friend of mine to depart early, both in exiting the site and by her words, bringing forward her schedule which probably means tonight is her last. This post is not meant to dissect that event or create any drama at all.

I made a promise to her. I promised I would be there at the end to help and support, I'm crushed I can't come through for you. I just want to say, if you you do look in - I am thinking of you. Thanks for being there for me and thanks for trusting in me to share some of your pain, both physically and mentally.

I would also like to send a sweet farewell to Blackjack and strength to face this final "fight".
I'm also sad to see someone having such a rough and unpleaseant departure from this website.
Planning a suicide while being all by yourself is already hard as it is, let alone when you are an active family member, with people depending on you.
I hope whatever choice Blackjack ends up doing, it goes according to her wishes.

I'm sorry to see Blackjack go … I knew it was going to be soon. I thought it might be a little longer. I will keep you both in my thoughts.
A hug doesn't seem like enough. If she doesn't say goodbye … I hope she had a peaceful exit.
