I would like to list some scriptures to combat lies and gain momentum for my total recovery using The Holy Bible:
Lie = I am all alone
Truth = Hebrews 13:5 I will never leave you nor forsake you
Lie = God doesn't care
Truth = 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you
Lie = There's no hope for the future
Truth = Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future
Lie = I would be better off dead
Truth = Psalm 118:17 I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.
Lie = God doesn't love me
Truth = John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Lie = There is no escape
Truth = Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest
Lie = I won't make it to heaven
Truth = John 3:3 Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Lie = My death will be painful
Truth = 2 Timothy 4:18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
I hope this blesses someone too!
