Method Between jumping and hanging

Which would you prefer? Jumping or hanging?

Jumping assuming you had access to a very high point 300 ft+ which would imply lethality with no bystanders

Hanging assuming you had access to a quiet secluded place

I'd prefer hanging. At least I could back out. If you jump you can't.

Jumping from over 300ft should be a pretty fast lights out I think. Is it the fall or the potential few minutes of pain after landing that isn't ideal?

To me hanging is more surefire, some people can fall super far and still live depending on how you fall and such, but I might be biased because hanging is my method. It's honestly hard to even get the willpower to kick the chair so I can not imagine the will it would take to jump a large height. Also couldn't imagine how you might feel after you jumped if you were still conscious, but I don't know much about that

If I could jump I think it might be a good way to go. Always had a fear of heights although I did go skydiving and conquered the fear on that day I don't know if I could actually jump to my death. I feel more confident in possibly hanging with the hope of going unconscious in a few seconds. I think I'd recommend jumping though as a method over hanging, it seems like it would be quick and certain with no pain, or so I would guess.

Of I wasn't too scared I'd choose to jump. I went to Beachy Head a long time ago and just couldn't do it.

if I wasn't so scared, I'd rather jump. I live about an hour from a suspension bridge that is over a canyon, it's 400ft up. they just installed suicide railing/fence, but i'm sure I can get passed it. but, it is terrifying to be up high and actually jump (I'm sure)...hanging is more private, and seems like a good option too. These are my preferred options, and train. Sorry I don't have a good answer. :(
I just hope to get into a car accident that kills me every time I leave my house.

I'm pondering this exact question right now.

Would have definitely prefer jumping if I had high enough/secluded enough place. No need to endure the pain and terror before you black out, everything ending in a heartbeat. But the thought of surviving the jump and ending up disabled is too terrifying to risk it.

I will most likely just do the full suspension hanging. But since I'm not sure the celling lights hook will hold my weight I might need to go into the wilderness, looking for a tree. So pondering that I might prefer a jump if I find a high enough cliff (the city I live is in the mountains area).
