Method Beta blockers on their own?

I've got no access to SN, but I do take propranolol. I'm meant to take two a day so I get a lot with each prescription. Hypothetically, would it just stop your heart? How would that work? Or would it just do nothing.... :')

(side note: yup, I'm back, the honeymoon phase of an aborted attempt wore off & I got hit with the pains of life once more)

Imo propranolol isn't a method of its own.
