Fright Night- original 1985 version. (Film)

Also enjoyed the 2008 HBO series True Blood.

What We Do In The Shadows is amazing if you haven't already seen it, would definitely recommend

I don't know how popular it is because I usually just stick to horror films but was shown and liked the film adaption of Dark Shadows. It isn't super devoted to one specific genre of film. There's plenty of comedy, tragedy, horror, drama, etc.
Also, Let the Right One In is worth checking out. I believe it was originally a novel and then had several film adaptions. Sorry, I feel like if you're asking this question, you may have already seen these but I figured I'd add them anyways.

Black Dagger Brotherhood series by Ward-Romance
House of Night series by Cast(s)-Young Adult
Vampire Chronicles by Rice-Adult/Drama

Those were my 3 favorite series. I've read Twilight and it was okay but short lived for me.
Oh I forgot the Southern Vampire Mysteries by Harris-Mystery. I know someone else mentioned True Blood but the books are a little different and good in their own right.

depends on what style your looking into. for a fun little movie, "Abraham Lincoln vampire hunter" is entertaining. but in a more serious nature maybe "Dracula and his vampire bride." of course "lost boys" is always a go to series of movies that you can do no wrong with

for books,
"the diaries of the family dracul"
that series is my go to all time favorite for vampire books.

I'm awaiting for Brian Keene "With Teeth" to come in. I like the author enough to keep reading his stuff.
