What's the best place to jump off in Europe? I want it to be an instant death with no way I could possibly fuck it up and end up a vegetable.
And there's no way to survive if I land on my feet or whatever? Are you willing to hike or travel? If so, Preikestolen cliff in Norway. It height 1,982 feet tall (that pass terminal velocity), since terminal velocity is about 1,500 feet. You can't drop any faster than that.
The thing is it hard to land on the ocean below, so high chances you will land on the rocks below half way down. Half way of 2,000 feet is 1,000 feet. That is enough to kill, especially you land on rocks.

Here you go, pic of Preikestolen cliff.
No, not if you hit rocks surface below.
You need something high, I wouldn't even jump unless it darn close to terminal velocity. So a location like Beachy Head with 500 feet drop, pfffffff! No. I need something 4x times that.
Aim for the highest place you can get to. Remember you only have ONE chance to CTB. Rather you succeed and die, or else you will paralyze all four limps for the rest of your life. Who the heck want that?

I know you say Europe. But if you can travel, go to China, there tons of high bridges in China.
This bridge (in China) it 2,000 feet height too. No, don't jump the side of the bridge, jump right at the middle, BAM, straight down, all over.
I would definitely prefer Preikestolen. Seems like such a nice place to spend the last time but I'm still afraid that I might land on a ledge or something and fail. No, not if you hit rocks surface below.

That's the big issue with cliffs. You just have to look very carefully and precise for your spot. Bring a pair of binoculars with you. There is a kind of rangefinder. Maybe it will help to measure the distance if you're unsure..?I would definitely prefer Preikestolen. Yeah, but sadly it applies almost everywhere. But take a look in wiki on their list of places.Maybe there are better places then. Cause I have the feeling that if there's even the slightest possibility to screw up, I will screw up.
I definitely want it overkill. Don't wanna leave anything up to chance.Seems a little overkill to me
Im reasonably sure that anything over 35 - 40 meters to hard ground will kill me.
I agree with that. What if you don't land on head? Can't take no risk surviving..I definitely want it overkill. Don't wanna leave anything up to chance.
So many factors to consider, @dominodux .. And yet many people thinks it is so easy.
There's a good chance bleeding to death if the impact doesn't work. A very painful way.

Golden Gate bridge already have net all around, and security around watching. So No, not recommend, unless you want to end up in psych ward. Please even with no net, I still would not recommend Golden Gate, due to it only 220 feet clearance below. To me, that is ridiculously short in height. I need something 5x that or even 10x that. Do you want instant death? Or do you want to lay in pain?
You only get ONE chance of CTB, pick your location well, unless you want to end up paralyze all four limps. Or not death but laying in there in a world of pain before you bleed out.
In order to get instant death, seriously you need something 1,000 feet to 2,000 feet.
To me the best place to jump would be a 100s stories building, like the World Trade Center. You plunge straight down to concrete, just chose a spot there no cars parking below.
But with buildings it hard nowadays, good luck with try to break the windows glass.
Overkill is a good thing, you talking about your LIFE here, chances you paralyze all four limps if not high enough.
OP. I will advice you, if the place is not over 1,000+ feet, DON'T do it. Not worth the risk of the outcome what will happen to your body and a lifetime of pain if you fail.
Maybe that bridge in China is a good way after all. Nothing can go wrong there, right? Well, I'll need to see how I'll get there.
That seems just great. It's 100% instant death then, right? I'm also a little worried because I have no prior hiking experience. If you in Europe, no need go far as China. I believe Ms. @intheend say there another cliff in Norway that is even higher than Preikestolen. Trolltungga right? Ms. intheend?
How about this one Ms. intheend
Kjeragbolten? It a rock balance two cliffs. I think if jump off this rock, I will hit water?
btw, I laugh at whoever say 'if you want to CTB, you already go do it'. LOL, I'm sorry I'm not dumb nor wreckless. I'm not dumb to risk paralyze all of my four limps and still be alive. Unless I find a location where I'm sure it will lead to my death, I won't go jump. I'm the one that if fail will lay in bed paralyze here, not you. so what do you know about overkill or not, lol.

Can I know what country in Europe you from? Like UK? Germany? If you don't mind me asking. The reason why I ask is because you might want to find something in your country, preferably a bridge. Since you say you never hike before, you go between those rocks chances are you might slip and fall to your death on the way up the cliff. You will die, it just that you might not die right away but conscious and lay in pain until you pass out (if you slip during climb the cliff, and hit something below that not high enough).
I'm German.
