Method best method in UK

hey everyone, i'm just wondering what the best suicide method in the UK is? from what i can see SN and firearms are pretty much impossible here so i'm thinking of hanging myself.

only problem is that i don't think i have the means to hang myself while i'm at uni, so i think i'll have to wait til i go home for the holidays to do it and that's really far away.

anyone have any alternative suggestions? thank you

If I wasn't so determined to find N, I would jump in front of a high speed train in the countryside. Those things go ridiculously fast, I reckon it would be the quickest death.

But I'm too scared to do this, just as I am too scared to jump from Beachy Head or hang myself. I choose N only.

I would say jumping from Beachy Head - 160 meters is high enough to kill you instantly.

It's a very popular suicide spot, so you'll have to avoid rescue teams and volunteers and such

Sadly I think the only readily accessible methods in the UK are jumping off a cliff, getting hit by train or hanging. Or, if you're lucky enough to know someone with a gun you can "borrow", that's an option.

Unfortunately planning to leave this world can certainly not be straightforward if one lives in the UK. What is the best method depends on the individual and what they are personally able to access. All that anyone can do if they want to be gone, is look at suicide method information and decide what is best for themselves. This site has a lot of suicide method resources. Having limited access to methods and fear of failing ctb is what personally holds me back from attempting, it's all very unfair how ctb is this difficult. We really do live in a pro suffering society.

I've seen horror stories of people surviving attempts with shotguns and ending up without a face for the rest of their lives.

No method is sure-fire (no pun intended mate!).

What put me of the HS Train method was the fact that some poor f*ckers would have to scrape bits of me up, plus it's very, very traumatic for the train Driver.

I think it's awful that society in the main doesn't accept that there are people suffering with daily mental pain living in constant darkness. Guess it's because we're pre-programmed to live so some (mainly the pro-life possi) find it difficult to understand someone wanting to end it. It does make me even more sad that a lot of methods could traumatise those who find our body/remains. I'm just thankful for this forum & for finding people who truly understand.

The "best" method is hanging. That's how most people CTB in the UK and worldwide. You have alternatives including trains. We see the everyday train is delayed. Lastly, jumping from a high building.

SN is possible.

Get a tent. Get some charcoal, light it until its glowing and no longer smoking. Bring it in your tent, make sure the tent is airtight, take a couple of sleeping pills and its good night

I'm from UK and charcoal method is my chosen method. Still deciding on tent or car, but either way I have tape to make whichever air tight

The only thing I think of when someone mentions UK now is Beachy head lol.

I figured SN attainment in the UK was now impossible. Especially due to all the recent press coverage about suicide. Seems it is obtainable, somehow.

They aren't necessary. Just like you said I think it's just to make it more peaceful.
