I figure a bridge jump would probably be best, but I want it to work. Anyone have any recommendations for bridges in the Boston area? I go down to Providence fairly regularly, if anyone knows one around there too.

The Tobin Bridge is the tallest in Boston. It's a 254 foot drop into deep water.

I live in Boston. There are barriers on it. You'd have to go during traffic hour. Have a ladder and bring it out of your car then jump. I think its 254 from the very top not from the road itself.

I'm in Boston too but plan to ctb in RI because the coroners office is completely fucked here.

A quick google search tells me you would have to climb all the way to the top? Just read a newspaper report about a kid who jumped from the lower deck and survived with minor injuries.
Surprised it's taller than the golden gate—I've driven over it a bunch of times and it doesn't seem that tall.

You're right. I saw 254 feet on Wikipedia but the "clearlence below" is only 135 feet. I missed that part when I read it yesterday. Sorry about that. I personally wouldn't even jump off the Golden Gate.
Around January I'm planning on jumping the New River Gorge Bridge. It's flat at the top and will be an 876 foot drop into shallow water. Scary as hell but should guarentee an instant death / knock out.

Thank you very much. I'm scared but I don't have any other options left. At least I have the comfort of knowing that I won't experience any real pain. I'm sure I'll freak out while I'm falling but what's a few seconds of free fall compared to a lifetime of suffering.
