Belt hanging

I guess i might be a bit of an idiot, but I'm so confused about how does one hang themselves with a belt. I know the buckle part goes around the neck, but what about the other end? How do I tie it to an anchor point? It's not like I can make a knot with a sturdy enough belt to support my weight

Any resources or photos would be much appreciated
