Discussion Being told to kill yourself

Has anyone else been told by others to kill themselves?
I've been told to kill myself by various people since high school

I've been told to hang myself and that there's nice rope in B&Q by people in school. I told the teacher I was starting to have a nervous breakdown because of it and she told me to "stop being a retard then"
My ex boyfriend has told me to cut deep so I bleed out, that he'll stab me, cut the brakes on my mothers car and more. On a website and discord I admin I've been told to cut deep, die in a pool of my own blood and other various things.

I almost don't want to CTB to show I'm stronger than these people. But I also really want to die so... I don't know....

Ever since I was born, my family has told me numerous times to kill myself, and when I couldn't they figured I was too retarded to do so. I've had a nurse tell me the right way to kill myself and because I didn't do it the right way, then it was a cry for attention and I wasting the hospital's time. I've had various strangers over the years tell me to kill myself, but it doesn't bother me. It makes me laugh honestly. I think I'm desensitized now when people tell me to kill myself. Even my wife told me once in anger to kill myself.

Now I'll be shocked as hell, if someone close to me told me to live....

Yes my mom multiple times. And this psychiatrist I saw said that if I really wanted to kill myself i could get the money for it by prostituting myself.

Just once and recently by some asshole i thought could be trusted but later on made a gesture of hanging myself when we got into an argument at work. I didn't think much of it because this guy has some real pshycological issues as it turns out.

As for me, I was told by a friend a few years ago, "why don't you kill yourself to make everyone happier?" and my sister has told me on a few occasions to kill myself as well.

Nope, I never had and quite frankly, depending on the person who told me, if it's someone I despise/hate/don't respect, well I may just do the opposite (live a bit) just to troll him/her or to piss him/her off. If it is out of genuine honesty and with good reasoning, logical and what not, then I would probably follow through.

Goodness gracious, there was one person. I joined a group chat to meet my friend's new friends. It went okay for awhile, but then a topic came up about an anime and I said I wasn't a big fan of it. She went ballistic. She told me to kill myself, nobody would miss me, various unsolicited insults... all in the group chat. Nobody else stepped in. I got overwhelmed, that was awful. I left. Eventually I told my friend that I don't want to see her again if ~shes~ there, but then I had an anxiety attack because I felt so bad, I didn't want to make her choose between friends but I also didn't want to be in the same room as her.

So much drama over the smallest disagreement. It's simply better to walk away. She constantly makes facebook posts about loving everyone... what a crock of shit.
