Method Begging for advice.

Ive been thinking about killing myself since I remember. Same thought about my family was enough to stop me. Im not gonna complain how bad my life is, not the point.
Two days ago I made up my mind.
What are the chances that 'toaster bath' will work? (I live in UK)

Take your time and do some research of other methods on this site. Why not go to Beachy Head and jump? for instance

Sadly suicide is not as easy as we'd like it to be.

I wouldnt even entertain the thought, yes it could happen but with the upgrades on electrical safety these days its gonna be more unlikely than likely. Plus the damage that could occur to the electrical circuit of the house and potential to cause fire why do that do that to your family ontop of your death, imagine if you survive but the electrics are fucked

My suggestion is don't waste effort trying to make a myth into reality.

I don't think the toaster bath electrocution method is reliable. Chances are, you would likely end up badly injured and still alive, or your body reacting strongly and stopping you from taking that final action leading to actual death. I do suggest jumping or hanging as those have much higher chances of success, though just make sure that you find a sufficient height if jumping (over 150 feet if above land, and over 220-250 feet if above water). Hanging would depend on your body weight, the ligature that you are using as well as the structure that you would hang the rope/ligature on. Sometimes hanging might not be feasible if there isn't something that would support your weight and are able to go uninterrupted/undiscovered for a significant time (over 30 minutes).
