Anyone happen to live close to Basel? It would be nice to have a tour guide of sorts that understands what I'm going though and plan to do there. Even if we don't meet in person, just some insider info on the area and/or help with translations when/if needed.

If pegasos-association is legit (almost seems to good to be true), this then it will be worth the effort to take the trip. I've given other methods a test run but the fear of failure and ending up worse off keeps me living this life of suffering.

Everything is in German when it comes to menus, but when they see you struggling, they often pipe in English to help. Loads of international people there so you don't look out of place. We found an ok British pub in the town centre.

If you have the updated google translate app on your phone it can really help out in some places as it uses voice both ways to translate. But to be honest, in the town centre I got by ok.

I just tried doing some research on the Pegasos-association, they're not exactly clear on their criteria for "well applicants," but they do claim on their website they specifically do not accept young patients exclusively with mental health issues. Just wondering if you had an idea of what they would accept? :)

Stil researching. On paper my health issues may not sound that bad, while in reality, they are debilitating some days. Even the best days are far from any extend relief. You would really have to the same to fully understand. So I'm not sure how much "red tape" they have cut through.
