Anyone ever look at their plans and have backup methods as part of the overall bus route? I'm not meaning complicated systems like a guillotine shoots out as a person is falling from a cliff while they fire a gun midair. I mean just a redundancy to their overall process to ensure that things proceed to the final stage. I was considering a lethal dose right before leaping from a very high place or a tent with carbon monoxide but an insert gas bag being used inside.

Just curious about redundancy.

The more complications you add...the more that can go wrong. I attempted and a big part of why I am still here is I added complications. I don't want to elaborate as I am sure people are looking into me and my activities now, family etc, and don't want to be recognized, but not just following the "by the book" method resulted in things taking longer and me being discovered and "saved". Flights of fancy imagining a Rube Goldberg suicide are not practical plans. You are a thinker...an analytical mind...a detail person. It's what people with minds like us do...but in this case its too much added risk and akin to spinning plates on hands and feet hoping all the parts work. Simple is best and works most often. The elaborate things you hear working are survivor bias...or non-survivor bias in this case...and not the norm.
