Attempting to make SN more palatable

Hi Everyone!
Haven't been here for a while as I was busy facing my inner demons, probably no one recognizes me anymore ( but Hi if you do) .
Earlier this year I made a post during my attempt complaining about the taste of SN - extremely Salty with a weird sweet after taste. Since I was completely taken aback by this I took the solution in small sips over a period of time, which resulted in the effects kicking in in waves, it was rather terrifying.
So now I'm trying to put my SN solution in the freezer in hopes that the cold will somewhat numb the taste.
Has anyone tried anything to make the drinking process more tolerable?

Freezing, or other extreme changes in temperature, can change what a chemical is and what it does. It is probably a bad idea to freeze it. It might not work. It might just make you very ill, but alive. Its just 2 or 3 ounces of salty water anyway. Maybe rinse the mouth out with clean water after it.

I forgot about that. If its a zero freezer it might. But what if the process of being in the freezer makes it ineffective or much less.

There is always what I started saying in early 2019. Use a funnel to bypass the tongue.

My two cents. I wouldn't freeze the SN, make a curry out of it, put it on your chips, or anything like that. It is best kept sealed away from air and moisture, because oxidation will change it to a different compound.

The strange sweet-ish aftertaste is probably our own saliva - the SN stuns our tastebuds into perceiving everything else as anti-salty.

I liked the idea someone had of adding a little tabasco to it, but at the moment I think a funnel sort of bypass may be the best way.

Sorry if I'm being stupid, but can't I just use a straw, direct it to my throat, and suck it right in? I've tried this before with some disgusting things I have to drink and it worked.

There will be some aftertaste, but very little compare to drinking, and also there will be some liquid left in the glass, but that's solvable. It appears to be easier than a funnel.

Using regular salt water I presume ? SN in low doses can still be dangerous so tread carefully.

Nope. Almost the whole operation - simulation. I will be doing 0.25g titration w/ vitals, oximeter, temp, etc and help at hand. Probably report afterwards in new thread.

I don't think it means we should serve it hot - just that chilling/freezing it renders it useless.

Not saying you don't hate the taste, but just thinking in the overall thing--it's such a minor part, and basically just a one time thing. Normally people wouldn't go around drinking it frequently.

Yes, critical for some. It's not just a feeling, it could be a strong reflex. Some people are sensitive, and some here described how even a strong smell could cause nausea (or vomiting). For many others this would indeed be just a mild inconvenience, as you wrote :)

Ibuprofen should do the trick. You can also take benzos (if you are able to obtain them) if you're initially anxious with going forth with ctb. If you follow the guide we have on here it should be a peaceful way to ctb. It's one of the most peaceful ways to go besides N, let alone very easy to obtain. Many people have departed here with the SN method and they never were distress besides feeling nauseous, dizzy, and a headache. But following up to that they usually end up falling unconscious that they are unable to respond any further. As for seizures, I can't really say it isn't possible. Everyone's body chemistry is different. But many have succeeded with SN.

Does anyone know what the chances are that you would start vomiting after you passed out? I hope I don't vomit at all, but if I do, I want to do it while I'm still conscious so I can drink more SN.
I'm figuring that I'm going to black out quickly because I'm already extremely dizzy most of the time.
I only ask because I had a failed OD attempt last year with some other drugs because I vomited after I blacked out. I apparently got out of bed and vomited on the floor of my closet in my bedroom. Then I had the presence of mind to get a towel to put over it so I wouldn't walk through it and track it all over the place. When I woke up a few days later, I had no memory of doing this except that the towel was still there over a dried up pile of vomit.
I'm assuming with the SN, you wouldn't be able to get out of bed after you black out.

I just don't want to get out of bed when I'm unconscious and do something that screws it up.

Would that change how the SN works? I'm afraid to add too many things to the regime because I don't want to change it too much and have it not work. Dammit, this time I WILL NOT WAKE UP!
I know that feeling all too well of how you feel when you first wake up after a failed attempt. I will not suffer that humiliation again!

I'm not sure if I'm honest. They are derived from fruit but it could be a possibility as long as they wouldn't cause adverse interactions. Lots of more knowledgeable people on the forum about SN that will likely know

If it was my go to method iv thought about holding some strong mouthwash or whiskey , hot sauce in my mouth until tongue goes numb then drinking the sn.
