I always knew I made these associations. I used to exclusively cut myself to 'India Rubber' by Radiohead and my stomach feels weird when I listen to it, but just now, I had a really strong reaction to 'Miss World' by Hole.

When I was going to go through with my 3rd attempt in November, I listened to a lot of Hole and I decided that it would be the music I listened to when I killed myself. I haven't frequently listened to it since the weeks leading up to that, but hearing Miss World literally made me feel like I was gonna throw up, I still do. I just remember the fixation and the desperation and drinking every night even though I hate the taste of alcohol and going out when it was freezing just to see if I could force myself to decide if this was the right decision and watching gore every night. Few weeks ago I entered a supermarket and a song started don't even remember which but it was a song that was very popular on radio in march-april 2025 where I'm from and it instantly sent me back to last time I hanged around whit my ex back in her town which is a really nice mountain town and I remembered all the beautiful places and the smells and people and everything. I stopped in a corner and I wanted to end it right there in the moment. Just dissapear.

Any song from 13 reasons why
Agh lol this is so valid 😭. Slightly off topic but I'm still lowkey super offended at the portrayal in the show by Hannah of slitting your wrists to ctb. Like—it's genuinely SO hard to actually do it, practically impossible, as you would have to cut REALLY deep enough to hit a major artery. Because your body is literally programmed to keep you alive, whether against your will or not. Even if you're going through it, you wouldn't be able to cut all the way through with a normal kitchen knife in several slices. It's the same as the common "fun fact" that it's as easy to bite your thumb off as it is to bite a carrot, but your brain won't allow you to (pain receptors, etc.) Anyhow, that was completely off topic sorry for my rant, I just had to get it off my chest lmao.

But all in all I genuinely love 13 Reasons Why it's one of my main comfort shows 😭❤️.

My trauma song is Daylily by Movements... I love the song but everytime I hear it I cry ...I shared this song with a partner who is no longer with us and one that i pushed away to the point of no contact ...it constantly reminds me of the people I couldn't save from me and my self destruction ...
