If you have the stomach for it, there are many suicide videos with every caliber you can imagine. 12 gauge buckshot seems to be the most destructive. Shotgun to the head has by far the greatest success rate.

If you feel you need and want to do it with a gun, a shotgun in the mouth is the safest bet.
