I don't even live there, but I think if Mamdani wins, its a good sign for the country.
I have so little hope that things won't straight up become Nazi Germany, so it's been hard. Seeing the way Mamdani made waves gave me a few smiles. And then that video he made for trans people... genuinely helped me. So much. Just seeing someone in politics say that stuff was so jarring, in a good way. This is sort of me being vulnerable, so feel free to ignore it.
Are you guys also watching to see who wins? Do you think it might have any sort of positive affect if your candidate wins? Do you even live in New York, or are you tuning in for other reasons?
